The chosen charity for Vol VII is Young Dementia UK.

"YoungDementia UK is the dedicated national charity for younger people with dementia and their families.

Over 42,000 people diagnosed with dementia in the UK are aged between 30 and 65. It is a life-changing condition to have at any age, but when you are younger and believe you have a long and full life ahead of you, the impact is significantly different.

We are committed to helping those affected by this challenging condition to continue to live life, by providing support, social events and information."

A statistic by the Alzheimer's Society states that one person is diagnosed with Dementia every three minutes here in the UK.
As such, given each song is exactly three minutes in length, nineteen people will be diagnosed in the time it takes to listen to the album in full.

When I first started contacting the artists involved it was a bit overwhelming how many have been affected directly by a family member or friend having Dementia or Alzheimer's. There have been a lot of personal and emotional songs submitted and I'd like to thank the artists involved for putting in their time and effort.
